In the last three years, TESA ASSA ABLOY has been visited in its factory in Irun, Spain, by architects from all over the world – Middle East, Latin America, North Africa, South East Asia, and Russia. This is part of a strategic plan to expand its presence through specification driven projects in international markets

On February 1st seventeen Moroccan architectural firms travelled to Spain to visit TESA ASSA ABLOY’s facilities in Irún for a first-hand appraisal of the processes developed in the plant. Most of them had also visited our stand at the SIB trade fair that took place in Casablanca, Morocco, in November.

As part of the company’s strategy, TESA ASSA ABLOY is looking to expand its area of influence and expand its presence in the emerging Moroccan market, by specifying solutions for new buildings based on its highest added value mechanical and electromechanical products. After the welcome the Moroccan professionals were guided to the facilities, which gave them the chance to see both the products and the manufacturing processes, and to explore the extensive product range at the showroom.

This has not been the first time North African Architects visit Irun, as previously groups from Morocco and Tunisia had also flew over.

As part of the program, the group visited several projects where TESA ASSA ABLOY’s products have been installed, and also had the chance to enjoy the excellent Basque culture and cuisine.
