Environmental Product Documentation

Environmental and health documentation for more sustainable construction.

In this section, you can view and download environmental and health documentation related to our products.

Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) provide verified information on the environmental impact throughout a product’s entire life cycle, in accordance with international sustainability standards. Their purpose is to promote transparency for the public regarding construction products. EPDs are prepared in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14025 (Type III Environmental Declarations).

Health Product Declarations (HPDs) describe the composition of products and their potential effects on human health, providing valuable information for manufacturers, installers, maintenance personnel, and users.

  • Specific EPDs

A specific EPD is developed for a particular product or product line from a specific manufacturer. It reflects the actual data regarding its production process and materials.

  • Generic EPDs

A generic EPD represents a category of similar products or an industry average. It does not describe a specific product, but rather an average value representative of various manufacturers or an industry.

  • HPDs

An HPD is a product health declaration that provides information about the materials and chemicals contained in a product, as well as their potential impact on human health.

What is the value of an EPD?

  • EPDs can help earn points toward LEED certification and will meet the requirements of future green building codes
  • EPDs reflect ongoing environmental improvements in products
  • EPDs are becoming increasingly common, especially in new construction
