TESA ASSA ABLOY receives recognition for the company’s contribution to reducing workplace accidents
On behalf of the company, the Managing Director of TESA ASSA ABLOY, Mr Konstantinos Telelis, has received a diploma, awarded by Mutualia, in recognition of the effort made to reduce workplace accidents.
Mr Jorge Arbaiza, Territorial Director, and Mr Alberto González, Area Management Delegate, both from Mutualia, attended the award ceremony, held on 6 July at the company’s facilities in Irún, to hand over the certifying diploma. In addition to the managing director, attendees from TESA ASSA ABLOY also included Javier Pérez (Head of Occupational Risk Prevention), Mikel Casado (Director of the Irún Plant), Juan Ignacio Rueda (Manufacturing Manager in the Surface Treatments area of the plant in Eskoriatza) and Mikel Cristobalena (Head of Human Resources and ORP South Europe).
In addition to this diploma, TESA ASSA ABLOY has also been recognised by the General Directorate for Management of Social Security (DGOSS), as part of the incentives that reward companies that have made a special contribution to the reduction and prevention of occupational accidents.
As highlighted during the event, it is the fourth time that Talleres de Escoriaza S.A.U. has received this reward for achieving occupational accident rates lower than those of the sector in general, and by taking effective action in the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
After the award ceremony, a visit was made to the company’s facilities, where the outstanding level of prevention was verified, along with a number of the actions carried out in the areas of safety, hygiene and ergonomics.
