TESA ASSA ABLOY’s SMARTair™, finalist at the Security Forum Awards with its smartphone-assisted Wireless Access Control solution /global/scaled/1418x617x1x24x1000x435/Other-Tesa-Noticias 2.0-2016-SMARTair™, premiado en Security Forum.jpg The smartphone-assisted Wireless Access Control solution, developed by TESA ASSA ABLOY’s SMARTair™ along with Vodafone España, was a finalist in the Best Spanish Security Project category at the Security Forum Awards. This innovative solution, which makes it possible to replace the employee’s keys or cards with a smartphone in both big corporations and small/medium-sized companies, is therefore recognized as a leading solution in terms of security and innovation. For companies, the most important advantages provided by this new functionality are security, cost savings and convenience. In case the smartphone is lost (which does not happen as frequently as the loss of cards), the manager will be able to delete the securely stored credential in the SIM very easily via an intuitive software. It also avoids unnecessary costs of time and money, such as the replacement of keys or the processing of new cards. The project that was presented included as a reference the installation at Divina Pastora Seguros – the first ever that features this solution and the SMARTair™ Pro Wireless Online management system (the latest TESA ASSA ABLOY development). This way, employees, providers and visitors of Divina Pastora Seguros may access the premises and other places by merely producing their smartphones, thanks to the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. As well as the convenience of getting access with a smartphone, this corporate access control allows for the remote, real-time management of the aforementioned access points. This allows the manager of the premises to send, modify and delete the access rights of the employees at any moment in a personalized way, both for internal and external staff.
